The UK announced on June 28, 2023 that it will keep the anti-dumping (AD) measures on certain heavy plates of non-alloy or other alloy steel products from China for another five years until March 1, 2027.
The Trade Remedies Authority (TRA) said that domestic industry would be harmed if the measures were canceled. As a result, the AD duty rate for the subject goods from China was maintained at 65.1% to 73.7%.
The products involved are hot-rolled flat products of non-alloy or alloy steel, excluding stainless steel, silicon-electrical steel, tool steel, and high-speed steel, not in coils, under HS codes 7208512010, 7208519110, 7208519810, 7208529110, 7208902010, 7208908020, 7225404000, 7225406010, and 7225990045.
