Recently, China has made many efforts to reduce carbon emissions; therefore, steel manufacturing by electric furnaces played an important role. China expanded the imports of recycled iron-steel materials.
Unlike iron pre, it is harder to obtain scrap than iron ore. Iron ore is formed naturally, but scrap only can be imported from developed countries.
In three to four decades, scrap will be an essential source to lessen carbon emissions. Therefore, South Korea and Japan might not export scrap to China continually
