Thailand decides to extend AD order on hot-rolled steel from Malaysia, China

Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce decided to extend the anti-dumping (AD) duty order on hot-rolled steel products from China and Malaysia by another five years, overturning its decision to revoke the imposition in March this year.
The products involved are hot-rolled flat steel in coils and not in coils, with a thickness of 0.9-100mm and a width of 100-3,200 mm.
The AD duty rate is 30.91% on China and 23.57%-42.51% on Malaysia, based on the CIF price.
These duties were first imposed on August 2011, valid for five years, and were extended by another five years in June 2017.
