Australia imposes temporary AD duties on precision steel pipes from China, South Korea

The Australian Anti-dumping Commission announced on June 1 that Australia has made a preliminary ruling and imposed a temporary anti-dumping (AD) duty of 9%, 51.6%, and 6.2% on precision steel pipes and tubes from China and South Korea.
The new tariffs will be effective on June 2. Taiwan and Vietnam will be exempted from this temporary tariff measure.
The Australian Anti-Dumping Commission will report to the Australian Minister for Industry, Science and Technology and submit a final tariff imposition proposal. After that, the Minister will make a formal decision on whether to issue a final AD and countervailing duty (CVD) imposition announcement.The products involved are under HS codes 7306.3030, 7306.5045, 7306.6121, and 7306.6910.
