On November 9, the three-month nickel futures price on the London Metal Exchange (LME) rose by US$392/ton to close at US$15,754/ton, and the spot price also rose by US$389/ton to US$15,709.75/ton. . Ton.

The average price of nickel this month has reached US$15,385/ton, higher than the US$15,239/ton last month.

At the same time, the nickel market inventory on the London Metal Exchange remained unchanged at 238,830 tons. So far, the cumulative reduction this month is 186 tons.

Market participants believe that the price of nickel is largely driven by the development of China's new energy vehicles, and thanks to Biden's policy, the demand for batteries used in new energy vehicles may continue to grow. The short-term nickel price is expected to remain basically stable.
