On November 27th, international crude oil prices rose as the market weighed the prospects of a successful peace agreement in Ukraine. Trading volume remained thin during the Thanksgiving holiday market closure in the United States.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude for January delivery rose by $0.45 (0.8%) from the previous day, closing at $59.10 per barrel. Brent crude oil futures for January rose by $0.21 (0.2%) to $63.34 a barrel.
