Australia finds no circumvention in AD case on China's steel rod in coil
On October 27, 2025, the Australian Anti-dumping Commission announced that it had made a final negative ruling on the anti-circumvention investigation of coil steel bars originating from China. The Minister of Industry and Science accepted the committee's recommendation and maintained the existing anti-dumping measures without making any changes.

At the request of infrabild (Newcastle) Pty Ltd, the investigation was initiated on May 9, 2024, to examine whether Chinese steel coils were minimally modified into mesh sheets with a carbon content by weight of less than or equal to 0.20% (commodity code 7314.20.00.24). To bypass the current anti-dumping duties imposed on steel coils (commodity codes 7213.91.00.44 and 7227.90.90.02). The final ruling confirmed that no evasive behavior was found
